I have over 15 years experience working with children and young people. I firmly believe if we build children up to understand themselves they can thrive in all areas of life. I work on giving children their own internal identity, building emotional resilience and self confidence. I also work on how we connect with each other and how internal confidence leads to better relationships and behaviour.

I have a range of workshops for different primary school aged children. For younger children I work with what emotions are and how we manage them. KS2 workshops are based on our own identity and how others see us, becoming emotionally strong and working with others. I also have a great programme of workshops for year 6 based on endings, how to say goodbye well and setting children up for transitions in life.

I have specific workshops working with bereavement and children. This can be useful if a teacher or known adult has died. I can tailor make a workshop to fit specific needs i.e talking about suicide or cancer worries. Working with bereavement with children is really important as children have a tendency to fill in the gaps with their imagination, which tends to be much more more vivid than reality. I also offer one to one sessions for staff at a reduced rate alongside workshops. Get in touch for more info.

As well as my workshops I can also equip teachers with with a bank of ideas for building emotional resilience in children, helping children build their own identity and understanding emotions and how to deal with them.

I work with community groups and charities on all of the above workshops too and have a wealth of experience in the charity sector working with people from all backgrounds and faiths.
